FELiX.PLuS (FLX+) is a high efficient sludge drying system using the free Solar Energy captured inside a greenhouse. The solar radiation warms the sludge and the water content at the surface is evaporated.
The greenhouse is equipped with fans which evacuates the mist and blows the dry air on the sludge surface to support the evaporation. On the other hand, the lower parts of the sludge remain moist which has to be turned upside down to be aerated and obtain homogeneous dryness.
FLX+ Sludge Turner scratches the sludge with its claws for mixing and aeration. Performing with a high degree of automation, it transports and spreads the sludge to entire area of the hall, ensuring high effective drying.
By the end of the drying process, the sludge cake is transformed to dried granulate form which is easy to handle for further use or disposal.
