DRUX.PLUS is a Spiral Screening Compactor used for transportation, washing and compaction of screenings and a large variety of waste materials, minimizing volume and mass as well as removal of organic content of screenings and other waste material.

DRX+ is a modern and improved concept based on traditional screw conveyor. It is consisting of a robust shaft-less spiral which is operating in a tubular or U-shaped trough. The screenings are transported through the conveying zone and pushed in the washing and compaction zone under high pressure where they are washed for removing the organics content and achieve better compaction efficiency. Since both conveying and compaction tasks are realized in a single unit with a single drive it can be used as an integrated compact unit to serve multiple screening equipment with longer conveying trough and more than one charging chutes.

The screenings to be treated can either be directly charged from a screen or can be received from intermediate transportation equipmen. A conveying and compacting spiral transports the screenings trough the conveying zone into the washing and compacting zone where they are exposed to powerful introduction of wash water. The washing achieves perfect separation of organic particles and thus effective screenings washing. The wash water from screenings compaction which is rich in carbon is discharged back through the collection hose to discharge zone and into the waste water stream. The washed and compacted screenings are finally transported into a skip.

DRX+ has different sizes to accommodate different capacity requirements in a cost efficient and reliable way. Each can be used as horizontal or inclined to fit with necessities of installation and can be equipped with a compaction elbow and riser tube or compaction counter-weight in order to meet the required quality of end product.
