SEPTiX.PLUS Septic Reception Screen

Sewerage networks serve only parts of large cities. Faecal sludge in small remote residence is collected in septic tanks and transferred to wastewater treatment facilities with tanker vehicles. Solids in the received sludge are removed by using septic reception screens before discharged to treatment plant for further treatment.

SEPTiX.PLUS Septic Reception Screen is used for mechanical treatment of Septic Sludge received to the plant via tanker vehicles. It is consisting of a compact screening unit installed in a tank with inlet and outlet nozzles.

Truck discharge is connected to the inlet flange of the system and pumped through the screen leaving the debris on the perforated surface of the screen. The screw transporter collects and lifts the captured debris upwards out of the flow. By the help of the Integrated Wash Press, the screenings are compacted and discharged.

There are different types serving for different capacities: SPX+S has a spiral screen which serves up to 50 m3/h sludge capacity while SPX+R has a rotary drum screen which is designed to work for sludge capacities up to 200 m3/h.
