SAND.PLUS (SND+) Grit Scraper is developed based on vast experience in the design and manufacturing of robust and reliable scrapers for rectangular grit and grease removal and tanks, operating for effective grit and grease removal to reduce the serious wearing effect on the process pumps and other mechanical equipment and preventing other problems in downstream processes.
SND+ Grit‐Grease Scraper consists of a traveling bridge which carries the grit and grease removal systems. The bridge spans one or several side by side constructed longitudinal tanks. Settled grit is removed either by scraper blade or directly by suction system which conveys the sediment from the tank bottom directly into a laterally installed collection trough. Grease is also transferred by the help of the surface scraper to the end of the chamber and discharged into a collection hopper.
